Summary

I have quite an active life.  I like Scouting, Tramping, Sailing, etc.

The New Zealand Bush

Tramping

Tramping is one of the best activities that I like doing.   I often go tramping with friends where we go away for a weekend to a whole week.

The Waitakare Ranges in the Auckland region is a good place to start.   There are lots of tracks from the beginner to the advanced.  I have done the hardest track which is the Parahara Valley, I try to do quite often as it is a very interesting place.

I have also done tramping in the Coromandel Range, Urewera National Park, Tongariro National Park, Abel Tasman National Park, Kaimanawa Mountains and much more.  Each place has its own uniqueness and it allows you to get away from it all and take everything on your back and then walk.

Sailing

Occasionally I go sailing on the Hauraki Gulf.  Usually visit the inner islands of the gulf.

4WD

In the last few years, I have started getting into 4-Wheel-Driving expeditions.  This allows you to go off-road and have lots of fun on the rugged terrain.  Because of the enjoyment, I now have a 4WD vehicle, which handles very well and it can tackle any challenge that you throw at it.

Computers

When I am not being active I am usually found on the computer (who could not have guessed).
